The University of Texas Medical Branch has been recognized on Forbes’ inaugural list of America’s Best Employers for Healthcare Professionals 2025.
The list recognizes just 250 companies out of more than 3,000 employer evaluations.

The award reflects the honorees’ commitment to creating an excellent work environment, highlighting leadership in salary, working conditions, professional growth opportunities and other aspects essential to an award-winning workplace.
Honorees were identified in an independent survey from a sample of over 17,000 U.S. employees working for health care and social welfare providers employing at least 1,000 people within the United States. The survey was conducted periodically over the course of the past three years by Forbes and Statista.
