UTMB Health observes National EMS Week
For 50 years, the country has dedicated one week a year to honoring team members in the emergency medical services field. Running from May 19-25, EMS Week is a time for all of us at UTMB Health to say thanks and pay homage to our partners in the field. Without them, we couldn’t do what we do every day. To all of our EMS colleagues: Thank you. It’s a privilege to serve the community at your side.

UTMB League City reaches Level lll trauma center designation
The Texas Department of State Health Services has named the University of Texas Medical Branch’s League City Campus as an Advanced Level III Trauma Facility.

Dr. Shiva Daram is the newest member of the UTMB ENT team. Covering the Clear Lake, League City and Galveston campuses, Dr. Daram joins UTMB’s exceptional pediatric ENT team. Interfacility Patient Transfers
Call the UTMB Transfer Center at (800) 962-3648 to coordinate a patient transfer from an outside medical facility to a UTMB hospital.
