Indeed Job Search Academy Now Available to All UTMB Trainees

Through a partnership with the University of Texas System, all University of Texas Medical Branch students now have access to the Indeed Job Search Academy, which offers training modules and tools designed to support every stage of the job search process.

Dr. Jacqueline Silva, Senior Manager of Research Operations and Director of the Writing Studio within the UTMB Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences (GSBS), helped launch the partnership at UTMB.

“As a UTMB alumna, I know firsthand how valuable comprehensive career support can be,” said Silva. “If these tools had been available when I was a student, I absolutely would have used them. I took advantage of all career development resources before graduation, and this new offering is a fantastic addition.”

The tools are available to anyone with a UTMB SSO login.

“We’re excited to offer this new resource to our entire trainee community,” Silva said. “This partnership with Indeed enhances our commitment to career readiness, and we can’t wait to see how students and postdocs will make the most of it.”

In addition to the Indeed Job Search Academy, the GSBS Writing Studio is also available to review job application materials—including CVs, resumes, and cover letters—for all GSBS trainees.
