UTMB Health earns national reaccreditation for the highest level of breast care May 21, 2018, 10:00 AM by Melissa Harman The three-year, full accreditation designation by the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers, a program administered by the American College of Surgeons, is given only to those centers that have voluntarily committed to provide the highest level of quality breast care and that undergo a rigorous evaluation process and review of their performance.
UTMB Health Breast Imaging designated a "Center of Excellence" September 18, 2017, 10:00 AM by David Bethea The hard work and dedication of the breast imaging team has resulted in national recognition. The program has been designated a “Center of Excellence” by the American College of Radiology. UTMB was one of the initial two programs in the Houston area to receive this prestigious honor, and one of the first in Texas to receive the designation.
