April is Head and Neck Cancer Awareness Month. This is a good time to learn about this group of cancers and its risk factors, symptoms, and prevention strategies. Head and neck cancer is more common among men than women. These cancers are also diagnosed more often among people over age 50.
Come to the UTMB Health League City Campus on April 19 for a free head and neck cancer screening. The screening only takes 5 - 10 minutes.
Park in the lot for the UTMB clinic entrance and bring your ticket for validation. Screenings take place in the UTMB Head & Neck Surgery clinic located on the second floor, Suite 2.1600.
