UTMB Health provides care for a diverse patient population. We would like to highlight resources for transgender and gender nonconforming patients and individuals seeking care. There are several clinical avenues available to assist patients in a variety
of gender related services, including offering four different clinical avenues for gender-affirming hormones.
For your privacy and convenience, our providers have days and times dedicated to providing transgender care, HRT and related services. Services are offered at multiple locations. Please call for information and to schedule at a place and time suitable
to you.
Patient Navigator Savannah Parks, M.Ed., LBSW “(she/her/hers)” is available to assist patients in the LGBTQIA+ community with access to quality health care in an accepting, supportive environment.
Savannah can help guide LGBTQIA+ patients and their families navigate the health system, assist with locating resources and help connect patients to providers comfortable with LGBTQIA+ needs, including evaluation for transgender hormone therapy and LGBTQIA+
family planning.
