Clear Lake Campus Hospital

The new UTMB Health Clear Lake Campus is located at 200 Blossom Street in Webster. Labor and Delivery and the Mother-Baby Unit are located on the 5th floor.

UTMB Health Labor and Delivery provides exceptional care for mothers and their newborns in spacious birthing suites utilizing a family-centered approach called Couplet Care during the birthing experience. Specialized nursery services are also available at the UTMB Health Clear Lake Campus in a beautiful 8-bed nursery that features private rooms where parents can visit or stay with their infants.

We've made the pre-registration process simple and easy. No appointment is necessary for pre-registration. Our registration team is located on the first floor of the Clear Lake Campus hospital behind the Welcome Desk. The registration staff is available daily from 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. and can be reached at (832) 632-7322.

Childbirth Education Classes

Childbirth 101

Learn everything you need to know about your upcoming birth and how to take care of your baby in this course.

This course includes information on preparing for the birth of your child and coping with labor and birth, hospital practices, induction and augmentation of labor, medications, epidurals, cesarean birth, postpartum, baby care, and breastfeeding.

All expecting moms are welcome to join our childbirth education classes.

We also offer a separate class on breastfeeding with more in-depth information to help you successfully bond with your baby and improve your chances of breastfeeding.
