From the Houston Metropolitan Area

• Take Interstate Highway 45 (IH 45) South to Galveston Island.
• Cross the Galveston Causeway Bridge.
• IH 45 South becomes Broadway (State Highway 87). Continue down Broadway.
• The UTMB campus is located to the left of Broadway between 14th Street and 4th Street (Holiday Drive).

From the Beaumont-Port Arthur Area

• Take State Highway 87 to the ferry landing in Port Bolivar.
• Take the Galveston-Port Bolivar ferry to reach Galveston Island.
• Exit ferry onto Ferry Road (State Highway 87).
• Turn right on Harborside Drive (Highway 275) and follow the street signs to UTMB.

From Brazoria and Matagorda Counties

• Take Farm-to-Market Road 3005 (FM 3005) East.
• Cross the toll bridge over San Luis Pass to Galveston Island.
• Continue on FM 3005 (Seawall Blvd.) and curve left onto University Blvd (6th Street).
