• A Wellness Exam allows for a complete assessment of a patient and the opportunity to evaluate your child's health. A complete history during the wellness visit includes information about health history, prior screenings, diet, sleep, dental care, and medical, surgical, family, and social histories. A full-body examination is performed, and immunizations are reviewed and updated as appropriate.
  
  Many insurance companies cover this type of visit at no cost to you. However, during the exam if we treat any other condition, either chronic or acute, including prescribing medications, your insurance may require additional payment for that care. If additional co-payment, co-insurance, or deductible is required by your insurance company, you will be responsible for this additional amount.
