Poison Prevention Poster & Video Contest

Poster Contest

We’re excited to invite you and your students to take part in a fun and educational activity during National Poison Prevention Week, which takes place March 15–21, 2026. The Southeast Texas Poison Center is once again sponsoring our annual Poison Prevention Poster Contest, and we would love to have your classroom participate!

Open to all 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students in our area, the poster contest is a creative and engaging way to teach children about poison safety. It’s more than just an art project—it’s a chance for students to learn important life-saving information, express themselves, and even win prizes!

Why Get Involved?

  • Educational Value - Reinforces a key health and safety message.
  • Student Recognition – Contestants compete for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes.
  • State-Level Opportunity – The 1st place winner will advance to our statewide competition for a chance at the grand prize!
