The John P. McGovern Distinguished Chair in Oslerian Medicine is held by Dr. Steve Lieberman, Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine and Vice Dean for Academic Affairs. As Vice Dean, Dr. Lieberman leads the School of Medicine’s educational program. His numerous teaching awards include the Golden Apple and the prestigious Piper Professor Award for superior teaching. He also serves as the President of the University of Texas Academy of Health Science Education. |
