There are a number of ways to make an appointment or contact us with a question at the Breast Health and Imaging Center

Many of our patients are referred by their primary care physicians. Patients can also self refer for a mammogram, and also for a second opinion consultation with a breast surgeon, plastic surgeon or other members of our health team. Physicians are also available to review and give second opinions on pathology results and breast imaging studies generated at other care facilities.

Our imaging and radiology services include:

• Digital mammography
• MRI
• Diagnostic ultrasound
• MRI-guided biopsy
• Ultrasound biopsy
• Stereotactic biopsy
• Bone Densitometry (DEXA)
• Self-referral screening mammograms

Our medical and surgical services include:

• Evaluation of benign/noncancerous breast masses and other problems, such as infections and nipple discharge, including surgical treatment when needed
• State of the art multidisciplinary evaluation and treatment of breast cancer
• Surgery for breast cancer—breast conservation (also known as lumpectomy) and mastectomy
• Sentinel node mapping and dissection— the minimally invasive surgical evaluation of lymph nodes
• Breast reconstruction following mastectomy in partnership with our Plastic Surgery colleagues
• Risk assessment for breast cancer
• Placement of long-term intravenous catheters for chemotherapy
