Many of our patients are referred by their primary care physicians. Patients can also self refer for a mammogram, and also for a second opinion consultation with a breast surgeon, plastic surgeon or other members of our health team. Physicians are also available to review and give second opinions on pathology results and breast imaging studies generated at other care facilities.

Breast health specials in October: October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston will host or participate in numerous special events and programs to encourage breast health at its breast health and imaging locations throughout the Bay Area. The UTMB Specialty Care Center at Victory Lakes, 2240 Gulf Freeway South in League City, offers extended hours daily from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., to enable patients to stop off and get a mammogram on their way to work. Patients may schedule appointments at 832-505-1700.
