Located at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston (UTMB), the Center for Obesity and Metabolic Surgery is a multidisciplinary team of health care professionals treating obesity through both medical and surgical options.

Our expert physicians and surgeons will work with you to ensure you receive the most appropriate course of treatment available. Our team also includes psychologists, bariatric certified nurses, registered dieticians, physical therapists and other clinical personnel to make sure you receive comprehensive, compassionate care.
