Clinical Services for Adults

UTMB serves patients through approximately 80 primary and specialty clinics throughout the region, and at the John Sealy Hospital complex on the university's Galveston Island campus.

A full range of clinical services are offered, from primary care to specialty and subspecialty services in most of the major medical disciplines. Services include women’s, infants’ and children’s care, medical/surgical services, acute care for the elderly, transplant services, burns care, emergency and trauma services, and critical care, among others.
