University Comprehensive Vein Care Clinic

Located in the UTMB’s Pediatric Associates, Adult and Specialty Care Center in Friendswood, University Comprehensive Vein Care is a vein clinic that offers minimally-invasive procedures to treat varicose veins and chronic venous problems. We specialize in:

   • Sclerotherapy of “spider veins”
   • Compression therapy for leg swelling
   • Venous ulcers
   • Varicose vein removal (phlebectomy)
   • Radiofrequency ablation of the great saphenous vein

All of our procedures are performed by board-certified university faculty using state-of-the-art technology. The majority of procedures are done in the clinic setting, on an outpatient basis. Many of our procedures are covered by insurance and we can assist with insurance plan approval and reimbursement.

We serve all of Southeast Texas, including the Galveston County communities of Friendswood, League City, Galveston, Texas City, Dickinson, Webster, the Clear Lake area, and Pearland and Houston.
